Keyshawn Johnson thinks he has the insight that could go a long way in helping the Jets turn things around.

The Jets hit a low in their season in Week 9, losing 26-18 to the winless Miami Dolphins. New York sits at 1-7 on the year.

While not revealing completely what he would do different, the former Jet-turned-analyst did say he knows he could provide help.

"Let's talk. We just need to talk," Johnson said to The Post. "I don't even want to job. I'm enjoying ESPN, but let's talk. I promise you I can tell you some stuff that will get y'all to the playoffs in the next couple of years. You just got to know what you're looking at."

Despite his confidence in his abilities, Johnson doesn't think he'll ever get an opportunity to actually reveal his mastermind plans. With the Jets or anyone.

"But what happens is, the NFL is not like the NBA. It's a good ol' boys network. Look what John Lynch has done with the 49ers, Guys like me, we don't get that opportunity, how about giving me the opportunity to?"

Johnson played the first four years of his NFL career with Gang Green, who made him the first-overall pick at the 1996 draft. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Bucs in April of 2000. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers before retiring after the 2006 season.

In 62 games with the Jets, Johnson made 305 catches for 4,108 yards and 31 scores.
